Library hosts 'Grammar 101 for Job Seekers' Aug 18

Ensuring that your cover letter and resume are grammatically correct is just as important as the information they contain.

English Professor Linda Karlen will present the ABCs of cover letter and resume grammar, and identify common mistakes that job seekers make at the free program, "Grammar 101 for Job Seekers," at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave.

In advance of attending, send your cover letter and resume to questions@ahml.info with the subject line "Grammar 101 for Job Seekers" for a chance to learn how you can improve. Your personal information will be removed if it is shown as an example during the program.

Programs for job seekers are cosponsored by the Library and the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights.
