Poet Reggie Legend featured in Chicago Poetry Magazine

Elgin's own Reggie Legend will have his poetry featured in Chicago?s Poetry Cram Magazine. Midnight Summer Nightmare is the theme of the magazine's latest edition, Poetry Cram 12. Legend's featured poem, ?Case 3900? a.k.a. ?My Rod?s a Written Spear to Fear?, was inspired by a horror movie entitled Case 39. The poem casts light on the spiritual source of fear and how to defeat it.

Chicago's Poetry Cram Magazine will be available at the Printers Ball at Columbia College Chicago on Friday, July 29th and at the Poetry Slam's 25th Birthday Party at the Metro in Chicago on Saturday, July 30th.

Reggie Legend is the author of STEEL WATERS Volume I: DUPLicate AuthentICITY. STEEL WATERS is a spiritually and socially conscious collection of poetry for the Hip-Hop generation. Reggie Legend's work has won multiple contests for best poem/haiku on defpoetryjam.com and usatoday.com.
