The White Sox and Cubs face off today for another Crosstown Classic.
The series officially began in 1997 and the names of the games may have changed over the years (the Red Line Series, the City Series, Crosstown Series, Crosstown Cup, Crosstown Showdown, BP Crosstown Cup, the Windy City Showdown), but our passion for baseball hasn’t. Whether you’re a Northsider or a Southsider, you gotta agree, the series makes for great Chicago baseball — and great baseball photos. Here are a few of our favorites.
