Streamwood d. St. Charles East: Vikas Tailor notched a season-high 11 kills to go with 2 blocks to lead the Sabres to a River Division victory over St. Charles East in St. Charles. Nick Rice added 6 kills, 2 aces and 2 blocks and setter Phil Montero finished with 16 assists and 3 kills for Streamwood (13-20, 4-4).

St. Edward: Jake Mendel and Trevor Aguiniga each had 6 kills and Nick Pawlowski, Pedro Gonzalez and Sean Saxton each contributed 5 kills as the Storm swept a nonconference match from visiting St. Edward 25-16, 25-15. Mendel also had 6 digs while Gonzalez added 4 aces and Pawlowski served 3 aces for South Elgin (9-17).

Lake Park d. Bartlett: The Hawks took the first game 26-24, but the Lancers rallied to win the next two games 27-25, 25-23 to win a nip-and-tuck Upstate Eight Conference affair. David Upp had 13 kills and 3 digs and Russell Martin finished with 11 kills, 4.5 blocks, an ace and 2 digs for Bartlett, which slipped to 20-10 overall and 2-3 in the Valley Division of the UEC.

Metea Valley d. Larkin: The Royals won the second game to send this Upstate Eight Conference match in Aurora to a third game, but they fell short in a 15-25, 25-23, 20-25 decision. Mike Flowers had 8 kills and 5 blocks, Adarian Mahone had 7 kills and 4 blocks, Stephen Dominguez contributed 5 kills and 5 digs and setter Matt Harris finished with 27 assists and 4 digs for Larkin.
