Woman charged with Apple theft in Oak Brook

A Chicago woman is accused of stealing more than $1,000 in merchandise from an Apple store at the Oakbrook Center mall.

Elizabeth Rivera-Bogdanov, 35, of the 5700 block of South Rockwell Avenue, was indicted Tuesday by a DuPage County grand jury on one count of felony retail theft. She is accused of stealing three MacBook batteries and four Mac Box Set Family Packs about 3 p.m. April 16, according to court records. Altogether, the items retail for about $1,100, according to Appleā€™s website.

Rivera-Bogdanov is free on a $4,000 bond and due in court May 16.
