Did Bieksa deserve an instigator penalty?

The final few minutes of Tuesday’s blowout got a little rowdy, not an unusual occurrence considering the score and the implications.

But what was a little unexpected was seeing Vancouver’s Kevin Bieksa going after Blackhawks forward Viktor Stalberg following a clean check along the boards.

“It’s kind of disappointing to see him jump Stalberg like that,” Hawks defenseman Brian Campbell said. “But it is what it is.”

Should Bieksa have gotten an instigator penalty?

“I don’t know what the calls are anymore,” he said. “Leave that up to everyone else.”

Hossa on point:With his third period assist Tuesday, Marian Hossa finally got off the schneid and onto the scoresheet this postseason. He knew it was just a matter of time.#147;I#146;ve had some good chances but sometimes you make the play but cannot score,#148; Hossa said. #147;I think I#146;m in the scoring areas but I have to get there more often. I#146;ve had some good chances, but that#146;s not enough. I have to find a way to get involved in the scoring area and if I don#146;t get the puck I just have to take the puck to the net myself.#148;In 26 postseason games with the Hawks, Hossa has collected just 3 goals. #147;I#146;m not looking back,#148; he said. #147;Obviously I know I have to do more offensively that#146;s why I#146;m looking forward to the next game, trying to find a way to somehow get production.#148;Bolly bringing balance:The feng shui surrounding the Blackhawks line combinations seemed in almost perfect balance with the return of Dave Bolland to the lineup Tuesday.#147;Having Bolly back in the lineup changes the dynamic of our team,#148; Patrick Sharp said. #147;With him back it gives us an extra centerman to balance out our lineup.#148;Added Patrick Kane: #147;You move Sharp to center and you have 1-2-3 centers right there (including Jonathan Toews) and you can kind of interchange which one#146;s first and which one#146;s third.#148;The power is restored:After going 0-for-5 on the power play in Vancouver, the Blackhawks righted the ship in Chicago with 4 power play goals in two games.#147;We changed it up a little bit,#148; defenseman Brian Campbell said. #147;I think we#146;re just working harder away from the puck, with the puck #8212; that#146;s a big key on the power play.#148;Borderline fascinating:Bryan Bickell and Michael Frolik each scored their first career Stanley Cup Playoffs goal in Tuesday#146;s 7-2 victory over Vancouver. #133; The Hawks outhit the Canucks 44-33 in Game 4. #133; Brian Campbell and Duncan Keith netted goals 17-seconds apart in the first period, the Blackhawks fastest two goals of the 2010-11 season. The quote::#147;With Bick, you see what he#146;s capable of doing when he plays that way #8212; he#146;s a force, he#146;s big, he can move and he#146;s got great skills. That line was big. We#146;re hoping they can do it again next game.#148; #8212; Patrick Sharp on the play of Bryan Bickell and linemates Dave Bolland and Michael Frolik.
