Newest Sunset Foods coming to Long Grove

Sunset Foods will open its newest store in Long Grove in early 2011, in the new Sunset Grove Shopping Center, Route 83 and Aptakisic Road, the company has announced.

The third-generation family-owned chain has served Chicago's North Shore since 1937, beginning in Highland Park, and expanding into Northbrook, Lake Forest, and Libertyville, and now Long Grove.

The new store is expected to employ160-180 people and Long Grove created a tax increment financing district for the center, which will also host CVS Pharmacy, Chase Bank, Zengeler Cleaners, Rosin Eye Care, and other retailers.
