Judge candidates appear at Kane forum

The Kane County Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association of the 16th Judicial Circuit will host a candidates forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28 at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Building A, Geneva.

The forum is for all judicial and congressional candidates. The following judicial candidates have been invited: Ann Jorgensen, Mary Schostok, Susan Clancy Boles, Kevin Busch, Mary Karen Simpson, David Akemann and John Dalton. Congressional candidates Bill Foster and Randy Hultgren have also been invited. Each candidate will present a three-minute opening statement to begin the program.

After all have spoken, questions will be asked of those candidates in contested races. Questions will be taken from the audience and the hosts. The program will last about 90 minutes.
