Jersey Mike's opens in Geneva

GENEVA - Jersey Mike's Subs will open its store in Geneva next week, which will make nine restaurants in the greater Chicago area.

Jersey Mike's owner, Jim Shipman, will celebrate a grand opening on Wednesday. To commemorate the event, the new restaurant, located at 1770 S. Randall Road, also is hosting a five-day fundraiser through Sunday, June 6, with proceeds supporting the Geneva High School All Sports Boosters.

Anyone who has a fundraising coupon can get a free regular size sub with a minimum $1 donation.

More than 4,000 coupons are being distributed throughout the community.
