Charges dropped in Niles bank robbery

Charges against a Chicago man accused of robbing a Niles bank earlier this month have been dropped, Special Agent Ross Rice of the FBI said.

Authorities arrested Abdouramane Pare, 37, on May 15 in Bethany, Okla., and said he was a suspect in the May 10 armed robbery of a U.S. Bank at 8500 W. Dempster in Niles.

No one else is in custody and the investigation continues, Ross said.
