Fighting cancer is in the bag

The Friends for Hope of Carol Sream Relay for Life team is hosting a used purse party from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 16, at American Legion Post No. 300, 124 Tye Court, West Chicago.

The fundraiser features gently used purses, used books and a bake sale. Several vendors selling jewelry, candles and girls' accessories will also be on hand.
