Wheaton hires coyote trapper

On Target ADC of DeKalb has been hired to head Wheaton's coyote control program, city officials announced Monday.

The company will perform an inspection and assessment of the city's coyote population and then implement a control program based on those assessments.

Trappers from On Target ADC will remove diseased coyotes and coyotes that exhibit aggressive behavior.

The company is required to perform its activities in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

On Target ADC has a similar contract with neighboring Glen Ellyn.
