"It was everything small school basketball should be about," Westminster Christian coach Bruce Firchau said. "I was very pleased with our defense in the second half, holding Rockford Christian Life to 13 points and 3 in the fourth quarter."

St. Edward 51, Guerin 34: The Green Wave notched their second Suburban Christian Gold win of the season in River Grove. Senior guard D.J. Byrnes paced St. Edward (10-12, 2-5) with 13 points, including four 3-pointers, and senior center Zack Von Ahnen added 7 points.
