Is Mount Prospect the squirrel capital?

Mount Prospect resident David Schein closed the December "Coffee with the Council" meeting with a profound and pretty funny comment.

"Mr. Schein did not have any issues to discuss," according to the Dec. 12 meeting minutes. "However, he did share with everyone his idea of advertising Mount Prospect as the 'Black Squirrel Capital of Illinois' due to the unusually large population of black squirrels in the village."
