In support of Judge Jorgensen

I am proud to announce support for Ann Jorgensen for 2nd District Appellate Court. The 2nd District is based in Elgin and hears cases arising in 13 counties in northern Illinois (Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, DuPage, Jo Daviess, Kane, Kendall, Lake, Lee, McHenry, Ogle, Stephenson, and Winnebago).

She has served the 2nd District well since being appointed in July of 2008. Ann has the experience needed for this position. She became an associate judge in 1989; in 1994 she was elected to circuit judge in DuPage County.

In 2006, she received the Excellence in the Judiciary Award from the Illinois Crime Commission. Judge Jorgensen was elected by her fellow circuit judges to serve as the chief judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit in 2005.

Judge Jorgensen does not make policy from the bench, and is a very strong, conservative Republican. Please join me in supporting her.
