Elburn's Town and Country Library hosts game night

Town and Country Public Library, 320 E. North St. in Elburn, offers a variety of year-end programs. For details, call (630) 365-2244.

Game Night: Game Night at the library will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29. Play Wii Sport, Dance Dance Revolution and Rock Band. Board games also will be available to play. This is a drop-in program.

Magic and Malarky: Taliesin the Wizard will perform his "The Library Is Haunted (By Thousands of Authors)" magic show will be presented at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30. Taliesin will then offer a Wizards' School at 11 a.m. to teach children some basic magic tricks. Registration is required.

Year End Craft Workshop: This workshop will offer lots of fun for young patrons. The Friends of the Library sponsor and supervise this popular program. Register for this workshop that will begin 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30. This program is for patrons with a valid family Town and Country Public Library card.

Princess Pippi: The princess returns to the library at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30 to perform her singing, dancing and storytelling program. Feel free to wear your princess or prince costumes. Registration is required.
