Kaneland W.I.N.S. group launches year with 'Emotional Rejuvenation'

The Kaneland W.I.N.S. will hold its next membership meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Fireside Grille, 49 Sugar Lane, Sugar Grove. Networking will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. The keynote speaker Jackie Kold will speak on "Emotional Rejuvenation."

Kold will motivate you into 2013 by helping you focus on energy, balance and strength. The right exercise creates optimism, energy, drive, and purpose in your hectic life. It also sends your brain cells a powerful signal to rejuvenate especially in the emotional and cognitive areas for complex thought and decision-making process.

The meeting is scheduled to conclude at 1 p.m. There is a fee of $18 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Additionally, the WINS service project for this month is: Mutual Ground Inc., which provides a safety net for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. They are asking for Women's sleepwear, personal care and toiletries, paper goods, kitchen storage, cleaning supplies and linens. Any items that you would like to donate would be greatly appreciated.
