Batavia hosts sale of Conservation Foundation rain barrels

The city of Batavia is hosting the fourth annual Rain Barrel Sale with The Conservation Foundation and will be taking orders for rain barrels during a pre-sale, available now until the end of the business day Thursday, April 25. The orders placed online are for credit card purchases only.

The rain barrels are 55 gallons each and made from recycled food grade plastic. The rain barrels come equipped with a spigot, garden hose threaded overflow and screw off lid with a screen to keep out bugs and debris, and a 1 year warranty. There are three options for pricing and delivery: a barrel with standard pickup, a barrel and home delivery, or a barrel, home delivery and installation: the prices for these options are $58.50, $63.50, and $78.50 respectively and are available in the following colors: black, blue, gray and terra cotta.

To place an order go to anytime from now until April 25. The orders will be delivered from 9 to 1 a.m. Saturday, April 27, to Clark Island Skate Park along the Fox River off Route 25 at approximately 411 S. River Street. If you choose to have home delivery or home delivery and installation you will be prompted to complete more information on the website. The delivery date will be coordinated with the supplier when enough barrels are purchased in the area.
