Arlington Heights Community Concert Band Recruits New MembersAug 21, 2018 7:08 AM - The Arlington Heights Community Concert Band is starting their 2018-2019 season and is extending the opportunity to join the band to area musicians. The band performs four indoor concerts at Forest View Education Center in Arlington Heights as well as four outdoor summer concerts per concert season. Under the direction of Mike Madonia, a wide variety of music is played such as marches, show tunes, light classical and contemporary pieces. Membership is open to anyone ages 14 and older who has experience playing a musical instrument. No audition is required and seat placement is at the conductor's discretion.
