The Hoffman Estates Chapter of The Links Inc. is a proud sponsor of the "Healthy Me Family Interactive Festival" from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Gail Borden Public Library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in downtown Elgin. Youth and their families are invited to attend.

This is one of the many Activate Elgin March into Health 2018 programs taking place during the month of March to promote health and wellness. The afternoon will offer yoga, crafts, stories, healthy snacks and healthy tips for children and their families. Children will learn about healthy living through proper oral care, making healthy food choices and using money wisely.

The Hoffman Estates Chapter of The Links Inc. is committed to increasing awareness and understanding surrounding issues that contribute to obesity and poor oral health in children and their families. This is done through the "Health and Human Services" program facet in partnership with "Services to Youth," "The Arts," "National Trends and Services," and "International Trends and Services."
