Get ready for Christmas with a fun concert by internationally-renowned band Switchback at Rosary High School in Aurora.

"A Very Switchback Christmas" will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, in the high school auditorium, 901 N. Edgelawn Drive, Aurora.

Tickets are $25 or $15 for students. Children age 6 and under are free.

Switchback is the endearing and award-winning duo of Brian FitzGerald and Martin McCormack.

The band draws on traditional Celtic music and original Americana songs that reflect their Irish heritage and Midwestern roots.

Their Christmas concerts include everything from "Frosty the Snowman" to "O Holy Night," and there's even a nod to their Celtic roots in singing "Silent Night" in Irish.

Switchback tours throughout the United States, Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, and the Netherlands, playing more than 200 engagements a year.

Their television specials "The Americana Sessions" and "The Celtic Sessions" have aired on PBS stations throughout the U.S.
