The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce gathered with the village of South Barrington for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Kimmie-Kakes Handcrafted Gift Boutique, 100 W. Higgins, Suite F-30, at The Arboretum of South Barrington.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce celebrated a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Talk of the Town Toastmasters with Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke, Toastmasters Club President, Noel Ganay, and other club and business representatives. Talk of the Town Toastmasters helps members improve their public speaking skills. Toastmasters meets weekly at the Town Hall Center Meeting Room at The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia.

Executives from Wauconda-based Synergy Flavors recently broke ground on a new corporate campus building. The new building is scheduled for completion by June 2018 and will allow for an expected campus growth of an additional 300 employees over the next few years.
