Don't listen to dirt, re-elect Carlson to Dist. 15

Somebody must not like Nancy Lee Carlson considering the melodrama being written about her. Dirty politics are an unfortunate element of campaigns. And the leading candidate seems to be the one who receives the heartless beating.

Nancy Lee Carlson is a dedicated eight-year school board member with a list of accomplishments that my "300-word limit" Fence Post letter will not accommodate. Unlike several other board members, Nancy's sons did in fact attend District 15 schools. One son now attends Northwestern University and her younger son is special needs.

Nancy is the only candidate to receive Master School Board membership from the Illinois School Board Association. She faithfully attends District 15 board meetings, even during her son's serious illness when she missed atypical non-board or special meetings.

Nancy volunteers her time and expertise for the sake of District 15 students, parents, teachers and taxpayers. Any school board would benefit from the knowledge and allegiance she brings to the table. District 15 has reaped the benefits of having Nancy Carlson on the board for eight years, and is fortunate for the opportunity to gain another four years.
