Revive the economy by keeping jobs here

If President Obama really wants to get the economy back on its feet, he might want to consider higher federal taxes on any corporation that outsources jobs to other countries.

If huge corporations find it so profitable to outsource maybe they should start outsourcing middle and upper management jobs. That's where the problems start, not with the everyday worker.

There seems to be no accounting for the bailout money that has been given to banks, financial institutions, etc. The executives still seem to be getting huge bonuses, golden parachutes and getaway weekends all at the taxpayer's expense. We keep throwing good money at poorly managed companies, with no end in sight.

With unemployment so high, how about getting rid of all the people who are working in this country on work visas? You can't tell me you can't find qualified people within this country who have been laid off due to outsourcing to fill those positions.

We need to start taking care of our own and not worry about the rest of the world. If this country fails, just think of what is going to happen to the rest of the world. It won't be a pretty sight.

Management should remember it is the every day workers who made this country great - not the CEOs, but the thinkers and doers. Where would we be today if the CEOs had to answer their own phones, do their own typing, and fix their own mistakes.
