Volume I, Issue 7 of Naperville Connected Now Available
The City of Naperville reminds residents that the latest edition of its resident newsletter Naperville Connected is now available to view as a PDF at www.naperville.il.us/connected.aspx.
Volume I, Issue 7 features a message from City Manager Doug Krieger about the city's Fiscal Year 2012-2013 budget process, information about the Naperville Smart Grid Initiative (NSGI) video contest, holiday fire safety tips, a winter operations update and information on how to register for an emergency preparedness class.
Naperville Connected is a one-page publication distributed monthly with residents' and businesses' utility bills. For e-Bill customers, a link to an electronic copy of Naperville Connected is sent to the e-mail address they provided to the City.
Naperville Connected replaces the former Bridges newsletter that was mailed quarterly to every home and business in Naperville. By transitioning the newsletter to a one-page, in-house printed publication, Naperville is saving 7,938 pounds, or 252,000 sheets, of paper per year. Additionally, Naperville saves an annual $89,000 on postage fees and printing costs.
