Author to speak at Vernon Area library

Author Jonathan Evison will speak and read from his newest book, “West of Here,” at a public book talk and signing at the Vernon Area Public Library, 300 Olde Half Day Road, Lincolnshire, on March 5.

In pre-release reviews, “West of Here” was a top pick on a list compiled by independent booksellers. The story follows the past and present residents of a fictional town on Washington state’s Olympic Peninsula, developing a link between the late 1800s and contemporary times and how the actions of one generation echo in the lives of those that follow.
