Schaumburg offers Schweikher House tours Oct. 7

The Schweikher House Preservation Trust invites the public to tour the 1938 Paul Schweikher-Langsdorf Home and Studio in Schaumburg, a modernist home listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the top 150 architectural sites in Illinois.

Fifty-minute guided tours of the house, studio and grounds will be offered on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Pre-scheduled tours will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting on the hour at the property located at 645 S. Meacham Road in Schaumburg. The cost of the tours is $25 per person, paid in advance of the event with a maximum of 12 people per tour.
