Mundelein weighing business grants

Mundelein village trustees on Monday will consider awarding grants to three local businesses that will help pay for planned improvements. The applications came from: Sunny Days Nail Salon, 724 S. Butterfield Road; Greg's Custard, 1490 S. Lake St.; and Associated Graphics, 525 N. Lake St. They total $35,600. The money would come from a fund dedicated to helping local businesses pay for facility upgrades, new signs and other projects. The board meeting is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.
