Interfaith community Iftar set for April 23 in Batavia
The Batavia Islamic Center and the Congregational Church of Batavia will host an Interfaith Community Iftar at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23.
The event will be held at the Congregational Church of Batavia, 21 S. Batavia Ave.
Iftar is the meal at which Muslims break their fast in the holy month of Ramadan.
This event is an invitation to people of all faiths to come together in the spirit of peace and togetherness. The event will begin with prayers, followed by an Indian meal buffet.
Please dress in modest attire and women should be prepared with a scarf or other head covering to participate in the Muslim prayer prior to dinner.
