Championship Saturday

It’s Championship Saturday in the IHSA, with 10 state titles decided today across four sports.

In softball, Mundelein rolled over defending state champ Oswego to advance to the Class 4A title game.

Antioch is back in the state title game for the fourth time in the last five seasons after handling Dunlap in the Class 3A semifinals.

Turning to boys volleyball, Libertyville and Glenbard West easily advanced to the semifinals and face off this morning for a chance to play in the state final tonight.

In girls soccer, Naperville Central faces New Trier in the Class 3A state final tonight. Meanwhile, Crystal Lake Central plays Morton, who beat St. Francis in the semifinals, for the Class 2A title.

St. Viator and Wheaton Academy square off in the boys lacrosse title game, while York plays Loyola in the girls' final.
