Barrington Masonic Lodge accepting donations for veterans

The Masonic Lodge in Barrington will be accepting donations of business attire, household items and furniture on Saturday, Dec. 12, on behalf of The Midwest Veterans Closet organization.

The North Chicago-based organization provides donated items to veterans, as well as job leads and housing when available. The organization also provides basic computer training, job search assistance, coffee, conversation and camaraderie for veterans at their North Chicago headquarters, located at 2323 Green Bay Road.

The Barrington Masonic lodge, 312 S. Cook St., will accept donated items between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 12.
