Girls cross country

Vernon Hills wins: Vernon Hills defeated both Lakes (26-31) and Antioch (17-46).

The Cougars were led by Vivian Overbeck (18:18) and Samantha Hershman (18:34), who finished second and third respectively. Kortney Schardt of Lakes won the meet with an 18:16. Antioch's top finisher was Tessa Furlong. She placed seventh with a 19:50.

Lake Forest wins: At the Lake Forest West Campus, Lake Forest defeated both Grant (21-40) and Libertyville (25-33). Hannah Manetsch of Libertyville took first with an 18:06 while Grant's top finisher was Madison Romig with an 18:32. She placed third.
