Bar to hold raffle to help pay man's medical bills

A charity raffle event for Christopher Becker will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at the R Bar and Grill, 101 Main St. in West Dundee.

In late May, the 29-year-old man was diagnosed with a rare disease called Adult Onset Stills Disease. The disease affects your body's immune system, as well as your bones, muscles and organs.

He has been hospitalized for more than 26 days throughout the past few months. He has not been able to work since being diagnosed and is unsure when or if he can return to work. He has a wife and a 22-month-old son. The raffle is being held to offset their many medical bills.

Pizza, pop and beer will be provided during the event. There will be a variety of raffles available with prizes including Chicago Cubs tickets, restaurants certificates, stores, beauty salons and more. For details about the raffle, call R Bar and Grill at (847) 428-0248 or visit www.rbarandgrill.com.

Everyone is invited to attend and to help support a Becker and his family. To learn more about Stills Disease, visit www.stillsdisease.org.
