• The Addison Community Theatre will hold auditions for its Summer Faire at 7 p.m. May 27-29 at the Addison village hall, 1 Friendship Plaza. The troupe is seeking improv actors, singers, musicians, acrobats, jugglers and comedians. Improv actors should be prepared for improv games; acrobats, comedians and jugglers should prepare a two- to three-minute performance; musicians and singers should prepare 16 bars of a song performed without accompaniment. • The Tempo Players will hold auditions for its summer musical production, "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?" at 7 p.m. May 27-28 at Rosary High School, 901 N. Edgelawn, Aurora. Callbacks will be at 7 p.m. May 29. Those who audition should prepare a song, preferably one from the show. The auditions also will include dancing and readings from the script. A variety of roles for actors able to play characters 18 and older are available. Rehearsals will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays starting June 1. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, July 25-27 and Aug. 1-3. Be prepared to discuss all conflicts at auditions.
