Iverson tweets he's going to Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Veteran guard Allen Iverson has tweeted that he will be heading to Memphis.

The 34-year-old guard tweeted Wednesday that "God Chose Memphis as the place that I will continue my career."

Iverson says he met with Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley and coaches.

The Commercial Appeal on its Web site cited a source saying that Iverson told the Grizzlies he is accepting a one-year offer.
