Schaumburg to impose temporary traffic and parking restrictions around Septemberfest
Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place surrounding the Robert O. Atcher Municipal Campus starting before and running through Septemberfest over the Labor Day weekend.
Beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, restrictions will be in effect through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Summit Drive will be closed from Stock Port Lane to Schaumburg Road. Lambert Drive will have no access to or from Summit Drive and will be right-turn-only onto Schaumburg Road. New Mills Court will be right-turn-only onto Summit Drive.
Parking will be prohibited on the north side of Stock Port Lane between Summit Drive and Carmelhead Lane.
Additional restrictions will be in place for the Labor Day Parade on Monday, Sept. 7. Summit Drive will be closed from Wise Road to Beech Drive from 8 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m. Parking will be prohibited on Beech Drive from 7 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m. for parade disbandment.
