Tree removal planned along Route 53 in Rolling Meadows

The Illinois Department of Transportation will be performing tree removal along Route 53 in Rolling Meadows as part of upcoming bridge upgrades, city officials say.

The work is expected to take 2 to 4 weeks, and take place along the Route 53 corridor from Algonquin Road to Route 14, officials said. It will include individual tree removal and brush clearing and all work will be conducted within the IDOT right of way.
