On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. The storytelling magic of ABBA's timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show.
Nonstop laughs and explosive dance numbers, along with the magic of Swedish supergroup ABBA’s hit songs including, “Super Trouper,” “Dancing Queen,” “Knowing Me, Knowing You,” “Take a Chance on Me,” “Thank You for the Music,” “Money, Money, Money,” “The Winner Takes It All,” and “SOS,” combine to make this sunny, funny show a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget.
The production team includes Rosary teacher Megan Carron, producer, vocal and orchestra director, and Rosary alumna Julie (Abner ’00) Donahue, director.
The cast, crew, and pit orchestra includes 50 students from Rosary High School and Marmion Academy in Aurora. Music is provided by select members of the Rosary Chamber Orchestra and some local musicians.
Adults 21 and older are welcome to visit the Greek Taverna before the show and during intermission for wine, beer, and specialty cocktails. This is a fundraiser sponsored by the Rosary Fine Arts Boosters.
