Take a Doggy Dip in Diamond Beach Saturday
Celebrate summer with furry friends Saturday during Doggy Dip at Diamond Beach, 1016 N. Diamond Lake Road, Mundelein.
The free event begins at 11 a.m. with a dog dress up contest followed by a best trick contest at 12:30 p.m.
Dogs can frolic, splash and tackle an agility course on the sandy shore while on the grassy side, leashed dogs can have a treat-filled adventure from vendor to vendor.
Games, crafting fun, food trucks and a dog kissing booth also will be available.
All dogs must be people and dog friendly. Waivers required for all who enter. Human swimming not allowed. Visit mundeleinparks.org.
