Huntley church offers adult education series on ‘factfulness’

Is your view of the future distorted? When you contemplate the future are you hopeful?

Beginning on Sept. 8, these questions and other related issues will be answered during the adult education series on the “factfulness way of life” with Pastor Roy Olson at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St., Huntley. The eight week sessions will take place at 10:20 a.m. Sundays through Nov. 3 (except for Sept. 22).

“We will test our basic knowledge of our world and its projected future for accuracy,” said Pastor Roy Olson. “Using the book ‘Factfulness’ by Hans Rosling, we will identify 10 instincts for the dramatic that we all have and that unknowingly can lead us astray as we view our world and its future.”
