Des Plaines store burglarized, tobacco products stolen

Tobacco products worth $2,400 were stolen early Saturday during a burglary at a Des Plaines store, police said.

The break-in occurred about 2:30 a.m. at ZJ’s Pantry Plus & Liquors, 699 N. Wolf Road, police said in a news release.

A window was broken to gain entry to the store.

After grabbing the goods, the thief or thieves fled north, police said.
