Come hear some sweet jazz at Barrington's White House

The popular 2nd Thursdays Jazz Cabaret series continues at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in the third-floor ballroom of Barrington's White House, 145 W. Main St.

Enjoy an in-person cabaret-like experience or watch virtually as Barrington's White House presents jazz enthusiasts performing their favorite tunes in an "open mic" setting alongside the Marianne Kim Jazz Duo.

This week's featured artists are Barrington's White House favorite soprano Joanne McDade, guitarist Tony Barbaro, who plays smooth blues and jazz, and Ted Holtz, a jazz and blues multi-instrumentalist.

If you are a jazz musician interested in performing, contact Roger Reupert at bwhcc@barrington-il.gov. This series is made possible by a generous grant from the Barrington Area Community Foundation.

A cash bar is available. More information and tickets for all events can be found at www.barringtonswhitehouse.com/events.

Cultural programming at the White House is underwritten in part by generous sponsors, including the Wayne and Nan Kocourek, Kay Reich, Mr. and Mrs. Earle Combs, Kim Duchossois, McClintock Family Foundation, Sue and Rich Padula, Stephen and Mary Smith, Barrington Area Community Foundation, Barrington Bank and Trust, Mary B.
