Gilda's Club Chicago holding teen essay contest
Calling all high school students: Gilda's Club Chicago is looking for high school students who would like to share their stories about being impacted by cancer in an honest and detailed personal essay for the "It's Always Something" Teen Essay Contest. The contest has two categories: Personal Cancer Experience for students living with a cancer diagnosis, and Family Cancer Experience for students with a loved one living with a cancer diagnosis or have lost someone to cancer. Cash awards are up to $3,000 for the first place winner.
