Forpe out of race for Palatine Twp. Democratic commiteeman

Shirley Forpe, one of three candidates for Palatine Township Democratic committeeman in the March 18 primary, has withdrawn her candidacy, according to the website of Cook County Clerk David Orr. The two remaining candidates are Matt Flamm, of Palatine, and Justin Sorensen, also of Palatine. A challenge has been filed to Sorensen’s petitions. The winner of the primary will replace longtime Palatine Township Democratic Commiteeman Sue Walton, who is not running for re-election.
