Last year: 16-15 (7-11 in Horizon League)

Coach: Porter Moser (first season)

Key players lost: 6-1 senior Courtney Stanley (knee surgery), Geoff McCammon (14.4 ppg), Terrance Hill (11.9 ppg).

Key players returning: 6-8 junior Ben Avercamp (12.0 ppg), 6-6 senior Jordan Hicks (11.7 ppg), 6-7 senior Walt Gibler (9.4 ppg).

Newcomers of note: 6-0 freshman London Dokubo (Conant), 6-4 freshman Joe Crisman, 6-5 freshman Christian Thomas.

It will be good news if: Avercamp becomes one of the more reliable scorers in the Horizon League.

Watch out if: the Ramblers can’t find a replacement for injured point guard Stanley. Sophomore Denzel Brito is the projected starter.

Outlook: Moser is looking toward the future and already has a couple of transfers, Cully Payne (Iowa) and Devin Hill (DePaul), in house preparing for next season.
