Stevenson places third in math contest
Stevenson High School finished third at the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics Class 4AA state finals Saturday at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Stevenson scored 895 points, behind Naperville North, which had 952, and the Illinois Math and Science Academy, which had 949. Saturday marked Stevenson’s second consecutive third-place showing at the event and its eighth in the last 12 years.
