Tyler Perry’s LA Home Sells for $11.25M

Tyler Perry’s big momma move from L.A. to Atlanta appears to be complete. The multi-talented Mr. Perry’s fabulous Hollywood Hills home with views of Tinsletown recently sold for $11.25 million. Now the writer/director/actor can turn his attention to the sprawling estate he recently bought in the Peachtree State for $7.6 million. Oddly, despite buying a house that has 32,000 square feet, the word is Perry is going to tear down the “Dean’s Garden” dwelling and build a greener crib. Sounds like a movie script.

This Is NO Rumor: Lindsey Buckingham Buys in LA

Fleetwood Mac is set to hit the road for a big world tour starting in April. That leaves a lot of time for front man Lindsey Buckingham’s wife, Kristen, to renovate the Brentwood area home that the couple just purchased for $5.8 million.

The 1920’s Spanish Colonial sits among homes owned by the likes of Maria Shriver, Ricki Lake and Arianna Huffington and Kristen has already proved herself a keen designer. And, given that the two homes the Buckinghams renovated and decorated in the past 10 years have been featured in magazine spreads, including Town & Country and Elle, it makes you wonder whether another stunning re-do is on the way? Maybe Buckingham will have that to look forward to when Fleetwood Mac is done thrilling old fans all over the world.

NYC Townhouse Being “Hawked”

The former husband of Uma Thurman (aka Ethan Hawke) settled for wedded bliss with his new wife, Ryan, in a 3,500-square-foot townhouse in the heart of Chelsea. But now the father of four is looking to ditch the 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom duplex in New York, which was listed last week for $6.25 million. Hawke is currently starring and directing “Clive,” an off-Broadway play about a hedonistic 1990s New York City rocker.
