Barry Bonds Lists His L.A. Estate for $25 Million

The post-career life of Barry Bonds has not exactly been a sweet ride to baseball immortality. The former San Francisco Giants slugger’s association with performance-enhancing drugs tainted his home run record so much that baseball writers refused to give Bonds – who otherwise would have been a unanimous, first-ballot winner -- entry into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Now comes news that the L.A.-based Bonds has listed his Beverly Park estate for an MVP-high price of $25 million. The 17,000-square-foot Mediterranean is fit for a king and comes complete with pool, cabana, tennis court, guesthouse and private gym. Since he won’t be heading to Cooperstown any time soon, it’s unclear where Bonds will be holing up in the future.

Renner a Real Estate Avenger!

When he isn’t busy on set in blockbusters like “The Bourne Legacy” or “The Avengers,’’ actor Jeremy Renner is flipping L.A. houses, including his latest project at 107 Delfern Drive in Los Angeles. The 10,000-square-foot estate in Beverly Glen has hit the market for $24.5 million, complete with this sales pitch: “A roaring ‘20s art deco home fit for a 21st Century Howard Hughes.” Who could resist?

Anna Nicole’s Daughter Gets Closing Check

Six years after Anna Nicole Smith’s death and following much legal wrangling over her estate and custody of her daughter, Smith’s Studio City house has sold for $1.333 million. All after-tax proceeds are heading for her pretty little heir: Dannielynn.

The 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom house at 3646 Avenida Del Sol, Studio City, CA was purchased by Smith in 2005 under her given name: Vicky Lynn Marshall. Dannielynn and her father, Larry Birkhead, lived in the home until 2011, when executor and former Smith lover/advisor Howard K. Stern was given permission to transfer the home into his name, prolonging the bitter unraveling of Smith’s estate and pop-culture legacy.

Divorcees Duchovny & Leoni List Manhattan Maisonette

Long after the dust and divorce has settled, the Upper East Side apartment owned by David Duchovny and Tea Leoni has hit the Manhattan real estate market for $9.25 million. The artfully charming 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom residence was once three separate studio apartments that were combined to give it an uncharacteristically 30-foot-wide expanse.

The couple bought the apartment in 2008, after their marriage had already hit the rocks and they opted to leave Los Angeles. Turns out that the move back to their native New York, where Leoni insisted on raising their two kids, did not make all things better.
