College of DuPage Kicks Off 50th Anniversary Celebration with Concert, Fireworks
Aug 31, 2016 5:21 PM - College of DuPage officially launched its 50th anniversary year Aug. 26 with a free concert by Chicago tribute band Brass Transit and a fireworks display at the McAninch Art Center's Lakeside Pavilion at the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. Click here for more photos from the event. Click here to view a video from the concert. Chartered in 1965 and opening its doors in 1967, College of DuPage was originally formed from 10 high school districts. Since that time, it has evolved and grown into a modern, state-of-the-art institution that has provided high-quality instruction to more than one million students over the past 50 years.
