    An art project made by a fifth-grader from North Barrington Elementary school named Mya has been entered in a national competition against 11 other 4th, 5th and 6th graders from across the country. “Mya had an idea of a wavy shape,” Mya's art teacher Alexis Siddons said. “That was one of the challenges she had to overcome and she did a great job.”

    An attorney from North Barrington remains held in the Lake County jail on charges he broke into a Hawthorn Woods residence Friday night and fired a handgun, authorities said. Raymond Clutts, 57, of the 100 block of Clubhouse Drive, faces charges of home invasion and felony reckless discharge of a weapon.
